Andrew: I tried the Stone Coconut R&R IPA tonight. It is a very solid IPA. Great tropical fruit. I just don’t get any distinguishable coconut taste. I’m sure it adds to the flavor of the beer, but I just don’t taste coconut itself.
Next (and currently 🙂 ) is the Maine Beer Company/Nogne-O Collaboration Time III. Very refreshing, hoppy saison. Nice slight tartness and funk, but a BIG hop presence, which is not expected in a saison. Really delicious. Thanks to my friend Mike in Portland for bringing me a bottle right from the brewery!

We get a handful of Maine Beer Co beers quite regularly. but never the real interesting stuff. Lunch is hard to get, and I have been dying to try Weez all summer. Oh well, at least everything we do get is absolutely fantastic.
Love MBC. Check out my post (http://brewboyzblog.wordpress.com/2013/06/25/andrews-the-festival-portland-me-trip/) about my trip there. Everything they do is top notch. Weez is a very nice black IPA, though Another One is by far the best of the two. Their Pilots 1 & 2 are amazing, but brewery exclusives.
I was going to blog about them, but it just ends up with me gushing about how I feel they can do no wrong. 🙂
Well, they can lower their prices! That’s one thing they do wrong!
